The image of the lion and the purple color developed through a visualization process, enhancing the message to speak my inner truth and stand in my power.
Many of my paintings contain the energy of spirals (life, growth, new beginnings) as this one does.
The triskele - a triple spiral - also stands for the balance between body, mind, and soul.
Freya - The Snagon
Freya couldn’t really decide if she wanted to be a snake or a dragon.
She started out as a snake, to symbolize life, transformation and longevity. The snake also stands for wise guidance and truth.
However, there was so much energy, that she needed some wings and got a dragon head to release that fire.
The dragon enhances the snake’s power and transformation with strength, courage, wisdom, vitality, and personal happiness. She loves to play.
I named her Freya to pay homage to my creative teacher Whitney Freya and the Norse goddess of love and fertility.
Tree of Life - Just Love
I wanted to add so many more leaves to this tree, but somehow only the word LOVE stuck. And I like it. Pure essence.
It's Tiny From Above
She tells me to change perspective: It’s tiny from above.
She is the connector between sky and earth; she stands for perspicacity, courage, strength. She is a messenger of the highest gods, encouraging me to go ahead with my dreams.
The spiral energy for growth is prominent throughout this painting.
Behind The Mask
I started this mask as the last painting of a circle of 12 paintings, with at least two or three different paintings created underneath her. And at first I was not sure what she wanted to tell me.
The bold colors reflect aliveness. Feeling alive and vibrant is important to me. The different symbols stand for feminine energy, prosperity, love, protection, power, good health, growth, rebirth, renewal….
The eyes are seeking and seeing, and the mouth is so big to speak with power and authenticity.
The mask itself asks to reveal what has been hidden for so long.
Uniquely Me - Process Visualization
I ask my clients to gain a better understanding of themselves, their unique qualities, values, skills and talents. This is a visualization I created thanks to the input and feedback of so many amazing people around me.
Zuza - Embodied Inquiry
She looks inward to find her deep truth. She observes her inner world with deep love and gentleness.
She is getting ready to stand in her full power and to speak from deep within her core. Her wisdom needs to be shared and heard by the world.
She soothes gentleness, calmness, and serenity as she embraces the world around her.
“Here comes the sun! - Feminine Power, Trust, Passion, Love, Courage, Curiosity, Freedom. - Rise Above!”
I named her Zuza as a homage to my great teacher Zuza Engler.
Zuza = graceful lily. Lily = humility and devotion.
Tree of Life - Process
I love to use the tree of life as an visualization process to understand where our strengths, skills and talents come from, the source of our energy and drive. The tree also highlights the present as well as our hopes, dreams and goals for the future and the people and circumstances that influences us. I am glad that my clients love this process as much as I do. Though, we usually do this with markers and crayons not as an acrylic painting.
Balancing the Triangle
With this triangle I tried to visualize how we always have to balance 3 things. No matter if you call it Time, Money, Machine or Body, Mind and Soul. Life always happens in 3s. And in relationships that means: Myself, Others, An Issue. If I look at just myself, there is another triangle: my mind, my body, my emotions. And if I look at emotions I can look at fear, courage, hope (for example). The triangle becomes a never-ending spiral - and that is the source for growth.
